Confirm the removed fuse’s voltage rating, body dimensions, and fast- or slow-acting characteristic in addition to the 7 A marking. Disconnect mains power before opening the holder and inspect its contacts for heat or looseness. Repeated failure requires circuit diagnosis rather than a higher-current substitute.
Record every marking on the failed fuse before it is discarded after service.
